Variety of cultures and influences in Europe; migration and emigration; integration, confrontation or assimilation; marginalisation and openness; multi-culturality or core culture are some essential themes. But also topics such as nutrition, from abundance to world hunger; prices for raw materials and food; sustainability and careful treatment of resources and related social-political, social and ethical challenges will be discussed in plenary sessions and "insieme" groups.
